HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a hugely successful business, who have seen strong year on year growth, in their search for a Finance Manager to join the team in a newly created role.

About the role:

This is a broad and hands-on reporting position, with a blend of both commercial finance and reporting, and management of two junior team members. This is a unique opportunity, ideal for a qualified accountant with financial reporting or management accounting experience, who is on the lookout for their next step.

Key Responsibilities:

Management responsibility for two Management Accountants, managing their workload and supporting their development
Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
Preparation of financial insights and monthly management information
Liaise with external auditors during the annual external audit process
Produce detailed financial analysis to support performance tracking against budgets
Work with the wider team to create cash flow modelling
Build relationships with wider team to support strategic direction of the business
Take ownership of team success and accountability
Involved in the production of quarterly performance packs for key internal stakeholders

About You:

Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Prior mentoring/management experience
Good IT skills (including strong Excel skills)
Proactive with the ability to manage workload
Strong attention to detail
Financial reporting/management accounting background
Commercial mindset
